If you go back to around October - earlyish November the most popular one here was definitely Gura, although Ame had a similar time in the sun compared to now for a couple of weeks shortly after debut. There are a lot of factors at play regarding Ame's increased popularity since then I think.
Increased output is one thing, and I think it is different from Kiara because there just happens to be more about Kiara that filters viewers than Ame, on average -- game choices, voice, timezone, attitude -- none of which is her fault per se, it just is what it is. Considering that, there's a good chance that if a non-teamate isn't watching their oshi then they're just watching Ame.
But beyond that, she's just been doing a lot of things since that naturally draw eyes to her over the past couple of months, such as her special event holiday streams which are creative and highlight her sweeter/hardworking side that people may have been unfamiliar with previously.
I think her lack of "talent" but willingness to put herself out of her comfort zone and improve in those areas is also endearing to the average anon and, unironically, draws out the idolfags' desire to root for her on her way up, even if she gets lazy about it and procrastinates at times (also relatable).
She's also cute as fuck, which helps.
