I just started Japanese today on duolingo, figured I'd come here for a language thread. Can't read a damn thing.

Apparently all I had to do was to rename the folder to a number-only name, put it inside 7 folders, and install each modded/custom file one by one (copy-pasting the folders is a big no, too scary). And it only took me +5 hours to figure this out!
Now I just need to clear my mind from all these suicidal thoughts and maybe I will enjoy the game again.

It's not even past lv10 yet. How do you deal with this shit?

I'm fucking drowning in my reviews.

I'm 4k into core and want to finish it soon with 25 new words per day.
On workdays my retention is poor and reviews stack, on weekends I have to make up for it and it gets better, but it barely leaves me any time to read.

I didn't read in weeks.

I know reading > everything else, people told me to drop core in the past, but I want to finish it cause it might still have a lot of useful vocab in it.

What should I do?
