Eternity's ability too pretty much manipulate lifeforce and how its been presented in the manga is a major reason people have been speculating another fairy's game is coming. I dont doubt ZUN will do something more with this in the future but going as far as too say itll lead too a game is what im skeptical of. I just dont think that we've been given of reason too expect it yet though others would disagree. I feel like alot of the "hinting" is just stuff that will continued too be self contained in the manga. So no, as of right now their aren't really any other plot threads that would be "game worthy" so it will likely either have too deal with the Hell business or even more likely just be something entirely out of left field. Plus, if he is in fact going back too old ideas as far as games are concerned I have no doubts we would sooner get another Aya game to be honest. ZUN fucking loves those.
I also really doubt it will tie into HSiFS. Apart from expanding on the characters and stuff as he usually does I think he is pretty much done with that game. The potential new game would almost certainly be numbered 16.5 but that doesnt mean it need too have anything too do with 16 (similar too how ULiL had nothing too do with DDC for example).
