It's interesting how certain characters refuse the responsibility to think and make choices. Rethabile seemed to be the most obvious to be a spy considering her lack of talent, but she nonetheless accepts responsibility. I'd like to think that Ryukishi is emphasizing that even if you're a worthless sack of shit, so long as you keep thinking and choosing, you're better than a genius that stopped thinking.
