I've tried to get into Touhou 1 on multiple occassions but I always end up losing interesting and dropping it. I assume it's just the game never clicking with me rather than it being brutally hard. I think the farthest I got was stage 15 or so. It's the only mainline game I've yet to 1cc.

Scarlet Meister, what the fuck.
I've been trying to no-bomb* Remilia in practice mode and even in runs where I get somewhat far Scarlet Meister always wipes me. The clusters of bullets are just so dense that I have no clue where to go. I haven't been able to find a replay on Hard that captures it (or better yet times it out) so I'm out of luck there. Any suggestions? So far that card, Sakuya's Killing Doll, and Remilia's final card are the only spell cards on Hard mode that I haven't captured at least once with Reimu B.

*when I say "no-bomb" I only mean the boss herself, I'm actually bombing in places I can easily clear in the stage portion for the sake of points so I can get the 20M life and an extra shot in the boss portion
