Really, I'm gonna have to hear the final cut before passing the final judgement, but after the hiatus and the REBORN shoot I was expecting something different than very safe j-pop. Even that urban edge is nowhere to be seen.

Avex is not gonna drop her no matter what she does or no matter what the record does, but I'm hoping that either the other 3 tracks are fucking fire or that she has another style in the barrel.

Great post.
The music was pretty stupid and fun, it was good for what it was. I've always been a bit more into the girls and the shit surrounding them than the actual music sorry to say. I can't even remember the last time I blasted some of their music for an extended period of time. Concerts on the other hand, love them. They never get boring. And Momusu's latest singles have all been good, I feel like I'm one of the few dudes that actually liked Mikan and Resonant Blue.

Reason why I seem to not give two shits about the current girls, post pics and whatnot is just because I've assumed the role of the token Maki fag of these threads of ours, nothing else. I do like the majority of the members and have never said a bad word about pic spamming of any of them or any of that. But feel like some of you guys do a fine enough job posting pics / news / gossip / whatever that I don't have to. I just concentrate on posting waifu in the threads and comment on the stuff you guys post.

And I'm glad you don't fall into the dcanon category of fans. And while I do agree that the innocence, giggling and whathaveyou can be cute at times I guess it depends on my mood. At times it's great and I enjoy it and other times it just makes me cringe. That could be the reason why I really like Maki, Aya and Miki. All 3 serious business girls that have no problem speaking their mind and not just shutting up, doing a cute little 2-step dance and putting on some fascade of happiness. I rather like that about them.
