Every month? No, most birds only lay a clutch of eggs once a year. Bird youkai eggs likely wouldn't be nearly big as a human baby and I doubt it's anywhere close to as difficult for them to lay one. Bird youkai are quite fortunate. They only have one period every year, and their eggs are easy to lay so its much easier for them to keep their figure.

On a related note I want to take care of a pregnant Okuu.
