Why didn't Hanyuu just follow Takano and Tomitake to find out who the culprit is? They seemed to always die at the festival, as far as Rika knew.
Hanyuu was supposed to have more antagonistic role, but R07 scrapped that right at Matsuribayashi. It's still in Minagoroshi and kinda echoed even in later works but never really taken anywhere.
Instead we have a dumb useless goat.

eva beatrice was just a setup by beato in order to have a contrasting evil witch so she could masquerade as good for battler? and virgilia was in on this ploy too?
can all of these happenings really be explained with a human culprit? i'm sure they could if the story presented at face value is disregarded, but why would i want to do that...
