I doubt Cover will last even half a decade, even having been one of the early ones during the vtuber boom. The girls will move on with or without Cover, adopt a new persona if they stick with the vtuber gig, get something else possibly tangentially related to their performance skills, or get married or something that will let them live comfortably.

Until then, I'm going to enjoy the entertainment they bring and the fun they have, and hope everything goes well for everybody.

Aki was reposting those videos over from Mirrativ when she had almost no ability to stream anything. It was an extremely bumpy start for Aki due to technical issues on top of a poor computer/internet setup which also had delayed her debut on Youtube, as well as led her to try alternatives like Twitcasting. Things out of Aki's control, one thing after another kept going wrong for her that kept casting her into the shadows.
Only after two years have things actually stabilized for Aki, and her incline is slowly ramping up.

Relevant to that, even to this day, Aki spends some time every week to look over ALL of her videos' new comments, and will like a ton of them. Click some old video at random, see if it got a new comment well after the video's release (even comments made just a week ago), and you are likely to find a bunch of hearts from Aki.
