Nearly everyone is a weakling.
God is the strongest being. If you're a weakling, one who thinks strength is aquired from outside, of course they'll think God comes from outside, and it doesn't get more powerful than being outside nature (reality). It's the same definition, but for them, God is beyond nature because nature is beyond them. Nothing complex about it.

Would you say your supernatural experiences have been beneficial in the long run?

Every psychic vampire I've ever meet has been human, and they seem far more resiliant.
