I'm not sure and I guess that's in the heart of all freakiness. If I had to name something, I'd guess it's the vagueness between combat boots and normal high heels, that doesn't settle in any everyday category.

You're free to disagree but I personally believe that whatever difference in ability/talent/whatever resides in them it's going to manifest itself in their singing and probably dancing provided they all give it the same effort. Going back to the original question:

If there are, they're hopefully going to continuously show it through their endeavours as idols. Othewise it'd be just another gimmick that wouldn't take the girl nor the group any further on the long term. If we supposed there was a girl with actual skills in something she could monetize on, shed be somewhere else. I she couldn't make a living with it, I'd count it as a gimmick.
