I'm not much into that tulpas thing, but I can tell tulpas aren't the same type of phenomenon that poltergeists are.

Poltergeist is a total paranormal phenomenon, spiritual things affecting material things, and tulpas is more psicologial, only you can see, hear, and/or feel them, and is a thing happening inside your head after all.

About tulpas being able of become against you, I think is very likely, they comes from the subconscious or they feed from it, and subconscious tends to be traitor.

So, /jp/, I want to get into a MMORPG with 2D goodness. I remember some time ago some of the users here were playing a Japanese MMO that let you create loli characters and take care of them and such; does anybody remember the name of it?
