Yaguchi Mari "I dream of creating a game"

- When did you first get into gaming?

I got into gaming when I was in second grade, and I got a Famicom for Christmas. But I didn't have any games, so I'd borrow titles like "Super Mario", "TwinBee", and "Dragon Quest". My favourite games are the "Dragon Quest" games. I've finished 5, 8, and the newest one for the DS, 9. With 9, I've beaten the final boss, I've played it multiplayer, I've taken the train all over the island.

- Do you play the games you like thoroughly?

I really like to get into them. So when I heard that "Final Fantasy 10" had multiple endings, I kept working at it until I saw all of them. With "Dragon Quest 8", I set aside a "Level Up Day", and kept on playing until I reached level 99. I didn't play for that long when I was a kid. It's worse as an adult. You can stay up until late, so I think that being an adult let's me really get into gaming. When I first debuted, I didn't have time for games. But while I was still in Morning Musume, I started getting back into it. When I'm at home, I think I should be playing games.
