After SoPM it seemed like Miko just kinda went "Well whatever, you guys seem to have it sorted out alright. Imma just go sit in my hermit hole doing hermit things".

Other than Futo and Soga it seems like the entire Taoist group kinda fell apart.

She manipulated an entire country into picking a religion for her own personal benefit.

Not that Byakuren is a saint either. There's definitely a lot of gray area in both her backstory and her current day motives. But it's also just a part of how the youkai's existence in general provokes a lot of unpleasant moralities.
