so /jp/ why are you so afraid to debate whether or not Truman was the single greatest hero Japan has ever seen?

Pre-WW2 Japan was a closed society, filled with racism, an imperial dictator and no capitalism.
After WW2 Japan became a country that produces some of the world's best electronics and some would say culture. (I wouldn't). This was only possible because the reconstruction plan which brought in American values.

TL;DR. Japs owe everything they have to America.
