And most likely in few hundrend years from now, its all some great historical pieces, with great insights and such, or just formed in things that goes well with their current political agenda or ethics.
With old stuff they proabably though it was mockery back in the day when they wrote it aswell while some people think it is peak of literature now days.
Ultimately what is peak literature? In time we can actually see what is great from old pieces, but all literature that is less older is kinda hard to evaluate. or just not enough people have gone through it to see the genius in it. Who knows.
