Not that anon but even I as a fellow Nerofag have to admit that he's underutilized, killed off too early on, and not particularly fleshed out as you see him in the VN. What people usually mean by Nero being a better character is that his design is fantastic (Vlov is 2generic4me even if Nasu said that's intentional - pretending to be retarded is still being retarded) and his skillset is very unique and interesting (or would be interesting, if it was utilized well).

I guess we're just waiting for his time to shine, because he has so much potential, yet he was never utilized well so far, not even in the original VN. Or at least give him a spinoff manga or something, nomadic weirdo wizard from the time of the crusades is a concept that's begging for the pen of someone good.

How old was Nero supposed to look in-universe? His sprites made him look like 25 to 30-ish if you look past his ghoulish appearance, but another anon said that he was supposed to look like 40-ish, like Kirei-esque old.
