I used to feel the same way about myself until very recently. I wish there was some wonder-advice I could bestow on you but I think it comes down to forgiving yourself and letting go of the past. We can't change who we are but we can change the way we think about ourselves, from cruel and harsh to kind and caring. Small changes turn into large ones over time so please make an effort to think a little bit kinder of yourself everyday and I promise you things will look up.
