Marisa died (non-lethally) and told Orin to bring Shanghai back to Alice. It's basically a small reference to the Alice + Marisa playable team in SA where it's actually just Marisa and Alice's dolls that are visible, allowing for the idea that Alice is still at home. Orin brings back the doll, Alice remembers Marisa, screams out from horror upon realizing that Marisa died.
