This have been posted many times here but Mori Sensei is on the mark describing all the Nendos with one phrase on an Aiko diary.

2010 - 2011 Cheeky
2012 Off-the-Mark
2013 Conflict
2014 Mille-Crepe
2015 Boisterous
2016 Calm and Passionate
2017 Rainy followed by Sunny

Usually we talk about 2012 and 2013 the dark Days of NHMR etc.. however as you can see 2016 was a pretty awesome year. Myself I have never seen SG dance as good as they did on the 2016 Festival simply awesome. This only can be done (like the girls say) when all their hearts are one, all the Nendos look for that but very few actually are able to do it perfectly.
