This is where I'm confused. If her ability is to control eternity/ephemerality, why did she need to drink the elixir to be immortal? Did the elixir give her the ability or something?

Also, is it just me, or is /jp/ particularly terrible at the moment? In before it's just me. A ton of the Touhou topics seem to be all PORN PORN SAUCE with a dash of MEME MEME MEME.
