After living in Gensokyou for 6 months, the time Yukarin allowed me to prove myself, she finds me... Lacking. Lacking in abilities of danmaku. Lacking in abilities to survive on my own. Lacking in critical attributes that any person who wishes to live outside of the human village must have. She decides to banish me. I refuse and resist. I do everything in my power to prevent her from exiling me from this paradise. I love this place. I had no friends in the outside world. My family didn't care for each other. I had no future. I wanted to stay. I was willing to do anything to stay. After several minutes of struggle, Yukari gets angry, running me through with her parasol.

As I lay bleeding out on the stone walkway leading to the Hakurei Shrine, I look up at the sky. That beautiful blue sky, dotted with soft clouds. Yukari looks down on me, her parasol blocking out my view of the sky. She has a "Good riddance" look on her face. Reimu runs over to me. She begins fighting with Yukari.

My vision fades. My head tilts over to the side, and I catch a glimpse of my blood running through the gaps between the stones. My mind flashes on the happy times I had. Cleaning the shrine. The meager meals Reimu could provide. Riding behind Marisa on her broom. Seeing the sights of this flawless world. I was but a cancer in Gensokyo. Yukari was right. The last thing I think to myself... "Thank you. Gensokyo..."

I die.
