Ixia was announced in a stream, but she's by a very high-profile artist (Kannagi Rei) so no one expected her to come out fast. Kalmia was instead teased in Satsuki's voice lines, which have long been used to build up hype for upcoming characters (quite successfully too, given that popular girls like Acacia, Saffron, Water Hyacinth, Pygmy Waterlily, Tritonia and Adenium were teased that way). In any case, a month's wait isn't really that long in the grand scale of things, I remember storing flower stones for half a year in preparation for Cacao.

Speaking of which, we've gone through a lot of Lotus Lake's big players lately, but there are still interesting girls that have yet to make their debut. I'm looking forward to Orange (Lemon's captain and Mikan's elder sister, who leads her own harem/squad), Hyacinth (Bupleurum's boss and head of an underwater casino in Lotus Lake), Plane Tree (last of the researcher team composed of Horse Chestnut, Lacquer Tree and Rosemary, and the last hope for a perflat girl in a group dominated by mature ladies), Eryngii (Eryngium's childhood friend and the game's first mushroom-themed knight) and Formosan Lily (Easter Lily's childhood friend, who shares a bed with her and looks so similar that they can switch places).
