In order to make the best weapons you actually need the rare S-rank weapon drops from the strongest enemies in the game, need to fuse them to level 5, use that weapon and some item to craft a better weapon, level that up to level 5, fuse it with another lvl 5 weapon that had the same requirements and then fuse that weapon with another fused lvl 5 weapon and an item that costs 99999 points to buy or drops from the rarest yukkuri as it's rarest drop. This is going to take a while though i guess it's more fun than grinding 30 iron like in GoS.
