Yes. Eroge shying away from ero always have issues with ero scenes. So in a way, having more of and a story set around them can actually be good. Very commonly it isn't, because the dev doesn't care about anything but the lewds, but Astronauts does some interesting things once in a while. Pic related is also a hidden gem by a different dev, just that one route though. The lewds are very important and part of the story and character development for quite a while.
Sometimes you find nice things on EGS if you look around for a bit. It's refreshing, when the ero isn't just there because it has to be and the storytelling can be a lot more free without needing to 100% care about what otaku like or don't like, because it's essentially fetish territory already anyway. Like how Adebana's devil girl on the previous picture is a non virgin lewd demon who drained energy from many men through sexual ways in her prime time, until she was finally defeated by an ancestor of the protag and made a pact with their family. And her story isn't even bad either. Nothing you'd remember as a super awesome novel you've read, but better than most moege for sure. Obviously taste plays a role, but where does it not.

This may fit. Starts with a "fuck club" to seek nothing but primitive pleasure, the complete opposite of what's expected of you by society. Relationships build from that I guess. I only played the route of pic related, but I mostly enjoyed it. With her you can't expect actual sex for a while though.
The game is somewhat heavy on ero, but most of these scenes include plenty of progression in their own way.

Stumbled over this game and read (on EGS I think) that Karen's route should be quite good. Turns out, that's true. If you like something a little different from your usual absolute pure love thing, but still being fairly vanilla and "pure".

The game's premise is kinda nukige-ish, vndb even calls it one, but for this route at least it's mostly just a method to lead to sexual contact without being a couple. I personally think that's quite interesting as nowadays there aren't a ton of people who consider sex the holy grail you can only have if you have a girlfriend/boyfriend. Some certainly do, some may even still think it's bad before marriage, but hey. Times change.
Regardless, that leads to the relationship to grow in a rather different way than what you normally get. I also liked that the characters were actually quite compatible here, which is surprisingly rare. Unfortunately, while the part leading up to the "relationship" is pretty solid, once that's established you only get 3 h-scenes and that's it. The scenes aren't so good if you look at the game as a nukige (which I feel it isn't anyway) either, as the writer focused quite a bit on the surrounding stuff. While that's at part amusing and often even builds the characters, it's not useful for the ero in itself. Makes the whole stuff much more believable though. Until it gets into the "ahn" part which feels like it's copied from some eroscene pattern book where only the names have to be filled into the rest.


So I quite enjoyed this. If it had a little more time to work with the relationship, it could've been REALLY good in my opinion. The ending was really sudden.
