Not him, but take a look at my Christmas Windie and Flurry here, the two party members on the far right. It's much more clear in motion, but in addition to the bigger gold colored sparkles (Monika, Azami and Julian have smaller ones), you'll also see vertical lines of golden light shooting up around them. Those are the best sparkles, which indicate those characters will have the easiest time increasing their stats on that level.
