Look at her ingame sprite. The rigging part is supposed to float around her as if they serve as lateral shield, just like KC Kongou kai ni.
Yet considering the actual art cg, you can tell there is perspective issue right there. It is a recurrent amateurish issue they have, which just pile up with the other awful rigging design choice they usually do.
