Danmachi's weakest volume so far, though it's less about the volume itself and more about Lili being the worst character ever, even when taking into account Aiz "The Doormat" Wallenstein, Sanjouno "Virgin Prostitute" Haruhime, Lefiya "Cuntblocked Yuritard" Viridis, and Syr "Restored Town Bike" Flova. Why yes, I'm rooting for Ryuu to win the Bellbowl, how did you know?

Jokes aside, Volume 3 is the highlight of the series, and I implore you to only ditch Danmachi once you've read the climax. The middle volumes (4-8) are decent-good, but most of the fans will agree that Danmachi starts to really shine during/after the Xenos arc.

Agreed, the writing's rather straightforward, though I suppose it does fit with Bell's characterization and viewpoint of the world, i.e., the thing you see is the thing you'll get.
