You have something of a point in that 4chan as a whole is somewhat similar in its outlook. Edginess, swear words, and complex in-jokes are the lifeblood of this site. However, what you need to understand is that within this each board has its own unique culture, and that these boards can dislike the cultures of others. If you come flying into these threads screeching "cope," "seethe," or whatever, you are engaging in what many posters here (not just new ones) would find annoying, because they're blatantly out of place. /jp/ is for taking it easy, minna.
