I like how Bernkastel and Lambdadelta have become a necessary part of Ryukishi's works. They don't always need to play a major role, but it just doesn't feel right anymore unless there's some kind of connection to them and their world. Their introduction in Umineko is what laid the foundation that's made all of the stories Ryukishi writes feel interconnected ever since.
