Eh, by that logic, any enemy that requires a specific counter itself will be considered as a counter to every character that does not counter it. It's like saying Star Force in Legend Clover counters all single target DPS units. Enemies requiring a specific thing to beat them isn't uncommon in videogames as a whole. With the right party setup, RNG can be mitigated to the point it doesn't matter as it's a long fight that isn't really made or broken at any point.
Also, floor 8 is far from a real BS kit. It's just complex for a very mechanically simple game. In reality, it's a simple fight that forces you to play by the enemy's terms which is literally just focus on hit count and actually manage your turns/rumbles. Even then cheese is still possible, just that it requires planning. I guess the perspective changes when you play a game where complex boss mechanics up the wazoo is the norm rather than the exception.
