I always liked how the Higurashi sprites had so many different bodies. Every character had at least three different outfits.

The club members had school uniforms, casual clothes and fetish wear for the punishments. On top of that Shmion had the Angel Mort outfit and Satoko had the towel and birthday suit in Tatarigoroshi. Hanyuu also had her own school uniform, which is missing in the PS2 patch and people playing that miss out on it.

Irie has his casual clothes, his coach clothes and his lab coat. Takano has her casual clothes, nurse clothes and nazi clothes. And even Ooishi has an alternate sprite where he's wearing that bathrobe at the end of Himatsubushi. Tomitake also has his casual clothes and military clothes.

There are so many different outfits for each character. Probably because there were so few characters compared to Umineko, so Ryuukishi could draw different outfits for them instead of focusing on drawing new characters from scratch.

Hell, they even had different body poses. At least two for every character. Even people like Irie had different poses depending on whether he was serious or goofing around. In Umineko, he couldn't afford to give so many people different poses, so Battler was permanently stuck with a hand in his pocket.
