Jav pays like shit, theres not really much incentive for people to get into it unless they were fucked with when they were young and then it becomes a fulfilling career. The other career for them is prostitution/hostessing which pays more than jav so that cuts the number down even further.

The best you can really hope for is that the current influx of graduated members who then become gravure idols continues.
