Keep in mind that it's just a little more than a rumor for the moment, and a tentative schedule at best, though.
Considering the good run for their money they're having in Japan now and how keeping popularity high is no concern I doubt that exporting the bulk of the market overseas is even part of Akimoto's priorities, although making another pitch to raise awareness among the international crowd surely wouldn't hurt.
What's certain is that they'll be in Cannes this October, and that hopefully they'll bring more of the cream of the crop with them this time around.
Between the appearance at Japan Expo and the partnership with Tokyo Giants they've been spread thin this month.
