I start walking towards her.

My mouth opens.

But I can't say the rest.

My throat is seizing up. I can't breathe. The effort only comes out as chokes and gasps.

My pulse races. Every thump echoes throughout my chest and out my limbs.

My body is cold. But I'm covered in sweat.

I try talking again, but nothing coherent comes out.

She turns, and begins to run.

And then, I'm after her. I need to stop her. Need to know what happened. Need to know why I have the flu.

No, that's not it. I just have to give chase. That's all I can do.
