Crash’s ending (and time travel in general) is so fucking autistic. Since crash is retarded BECAUSE a retarded version of himself from the future ruined him, this would imply that there’s an original crash that WASN’T retarded from the experiment. But in this case, the accident would have NEVER happened because he wasn’t retarded enough to make the mistake, thus causing the endless cycle of retarded Crashes.

The only way I can think of how this is explained is that destiny is real. This would mean, the original Crash had the experiment done on him, and mysteriously, it failed. For no reason other than he’s destined to become retarded. The bulb thing just randomly fell out of place (for no reason AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME) and made him retarded. AND LATER, this same Crash eventually gets to the ending point of this game, and HE ruins the experiment, thus filling the incomplete piece that would cause him to have become retarded. That’s the only way this can be explained.
