Did you know that if can cut in line no problem? Yes, it's rude, but 99% of people aren't going to stop you. Most will only stare at you timidly, grumbling to themselves, and some fewer will say something to you, but they don't dare to take action. If someone tries to beat you up they are the ones that will be punished btw, because they instigated it and attacked you. What if someone walks in front of you to take back their place? Well, as long as only one person does it isn't too big a deal (same logic as the people sucking it up begrudgingly), but if multiple people do so (which is unlikely) just keep walking in front of them again. If everyone does that there will be chaos and the line has to be remade, use this chance to secure a spot in the front. Your biggest problem is if someone, let's say a cashier, turns you away for sneaking in line. Here is where you complain incessantly and make a scene, most people don't want to deal with that and fold, and, if they don't, try to get their manager out. Lie and say it's the cashier who is making stuff up about you (if you are foreign looking this is an easy battle) and generally be as unpleasant as possible. Make them decide that getting you to leave is the best course of action and that the only way to do that is to accommodate you. While this may actually be slower sometimes it will make it so there will be less problems in the future, in the end you save time.
There is no reason not to do this, why should YOU have to wait in line? Live a better life starting today.
