Why don't we have a JLPT-like system for every skills? Like if you want to be a doctor or a programmer, you wouldn't have to go to university, you could self-teach then take the Medical Proficiency Test or the Programming Proficiency Test. You can be an N4 doctor or an N3 doctor and different jobs are available to you depending on proficiency level. Would solve the student debt problem tomorrow and people would be able to acquire an education cheaper, faster, and without the leftist propaganda. It's a revolution waiting to happen.
