She's part of a moral-crusading cult of pompous shitlords who felt excluded from your hobby. They don't like the fact that your hobby serves as nice escapism from the weight of the world and their moral politics, so they've decided they're going to forcefully insert themselves into your hobby and assert themselves, work their way into the industry, convert as many people in it into their ideology as they can, give everyone else the boot, and replace them with their own hand-picked ideologues.

Katrina wants to snip away at and mold everything you love to neatly fit into her narrow ideology, and she wants to leave her own impression on it just to rub it in a little more that "your shit is my shit now"; this flavor of evil loves gloating about their evil deeds.

the inclusion of "BIG BRUDDER" is her form of "see that? I did this" for Higurashi. It goes completely against every previous OFFICIAL and COMMUNITY translation for the past 17 or so years, because it's her own super special unique take on it, and when confronted about it, she gets super pissed and goes on a long tirade about how buttmad the chuds are. She has no respect for the community that she's asserting herself in, because she hates the people in that community.

People like Katrina are why gatekeeping is not only a good thing, it's vital to keeping a community alive, given time.
