DLANOR=RONALD
Reference to McDonalds franchise involvement in Rokkenjima incident? Could McDonald still be alive? After all McDonalds had already been expanding to Japan as early as 1970 and, among other things, Hideyoshi is confirmed to be involved in the food industry specifically with the desire to westernize the Japanese diet after seeing American soldiers post-wwii.
And notice how of all Knox's Ten Commandments, the only one never used by Dlanor is number 5: "No Chinaman shall figure in the story". This is because Szechuan sauce was not added to the McDonald's menu until 1998!
BUT WAIT, THERES MORE!
In Japan, Ronald McDonald's name was changed to "Donald MacDonald". And we all know that to avoid copyright law, Japanese anime and games also change the classic golden arches "M" into "W". We can conclude that in the Umineko universe, what we know as "Ronald McDonald" is actually "Donald WacDonald" of the WcDonalds fast food chain. In the Japanese syllabary, it is written "DoNaRuDo WaKu DoNaRuDo". This can be rearranged (albeit with a few quirky parts that require a knowledge of both the Chinese and Japanese writing systems to explain) in to the key phrase:
"KuWa DoRiAN DoRaNoORu Ra"
In other words, "Kuwadorian Dlanor A."
The final A comes from Ra=La, the note A in solfege, if you were having trouble figuring it out.
I'll say it as red as the ketchup on my delicious WcDonalds fries... the true culprit is still out there! Perhaps Gohda wanted revenge on the wealthy family that funded the fast food restaurants that ran him out of business. Perhaps it was Nanjo, with his medical knowledge trying to prevent a Japanese obesity epidemic by taking away fast food industry investors. Honestly, I don't even know anymore. Literally everything I thought I knew about the WTC franchise might as well have been a farce after this revelation
