Not used Linux before and I'm not very computer literate but my roommate installed Ubuntu when fixing my netbook. For an idiot like me is it easy to play visual novels with or should I dump it for windows?

She IS Shortcake, as in the dessert. She attends a school for sweets and her brother is studying to be a patisserie so he becomes the school nurse. He takes care of the sweets when they get sick or injured.

Like when Chocolate gets hot tea spilled on her and begins to melt, they rush her to the nurses room and he cooks some new chocolate squares for her hair so that she gets better. He adds in some sugar so she's more bitter-sweet because she was so bitter before. It makes her tsundere.

I am not making this up. The game is called Oyatsu no Jikan which means 'snack time'. It's very cute.
