Kashiyuka's a big fan of Jojo.

I'm not entirely sure what the order of events is, but in 2008 Araki included a stand in the manga called "Chocolate Disco", this stood out because the stands are usually references to classic western acts, not modern Japanese ones.

Either he's a fan of Perfume and included them and that turned Kashiyuka on to it, or, and I think this is more correct, he heard Kashiyuka is a fan and he probably liked Perfume, so he included the reference. They've fostered a bit of a friendship since then.
