Maki is strange in a relationship. A few years ago maki was on a talk show with misono and they talked a lot about relationships. Maki said that when she is in a relationship with a guy she wants to do everything for him. She doesn't even need him to work or be famous. She wants to take care of everything so the guy doesn't have to worry about anything.

Misono joked to maki that it sounds like she thinks of guys as her pet. Maki denied but said something about how she has a problem and that she always spoils her boyfriend too much and they eventually turn on her. That's why she broke up with her boyfriend (not sure if this is the same ex).

From my oldfag experience, after women have kids they no longer can stand deadbeat dudes and also her success relative to her husband made the guy get insecure so they ended up fighting. I think Maki really does like to take care of a guy when he's the boyfriend, but after she became a mother she wants a better provider. Female instinct.

One of the things that her ex said recently defending their affair was that he could take care of Maki better than her husband.
