The appeal is actually rather simple: You're taking what used to be a man ( In the case of TF-TG ) and turning them into a cock-craving slut. One of the most common tropes in the genre is the fact that a girl's body is much softer and sensitive in comparison to a man's. It doesn't help another appeal for it, for the people who like it, is that often times it involves mind-break to some degree.
