Given that there's still "plenty" of time left in the event, is it advisable to farm drops in early maps on Easy, then switch to Hard to clear?

Or should I just clear on Hard (if I manage to do so) as soon as possible so I don't risk hitting a brick wall later on and fail to clear, and the bite my teeth and farm on hard after I'm finished?

I want Harusame, but I also want to finish the event.
