I honestly think HoloCN had the best method of introducing new members. As an idol group, it'd make sense for the first thing people end up seeing them in is their own covers. Sure, it removes the incentive of watching their actual debut stream(since a lot of people tune in to hear the voice and then leave if they don't like it) and it makes members that can't sing look bad(but then again, why join an idol group if you don't have any musical ability at all?), but I think a fully produced cover is a way better first impression than a debut livestream. Honestly, debut streams are the worst possible first impression any holo could get, a person is never fully ready for their first stream so if they blow that, people hate on them early on and it looks bad on them, it'd be better for the first impression to be something they have complete control over.

the production teams aren't really employed by Cover, they're pretty much unofficial fan groups that make clips for the members for their bilibili channel and Yogiri would have them help make her music videos as well, though I bet she is tired of most of her fans now seeing how they're quickly betraying her privacy and going against her wishes by trying to pressure her to join the others
