Bad criticism. You're complaining about a hypothetical route where she was the protaganist before Minagoroshi, before she reclaimed her hope and became proactive. You're complaining about a character not being proactive, and your example is the very routes she became proactive.

Rika is best as a contemplative character. The greatest example being the last, Saikoroshi. She's got poetic and interesting ways of viewing the world. Which obviously isn't going to be the best story for everyone, but your criticism is of a Rika that you made up in your head.
