I want to make my scheming court mage blush by telling her I want to marry her when I am old enough!

>evil dark mage decides to overthrow a kingdom and turn it into her personal realm
>starts by becoming a court mage to the king and manipulating things to create the best conditions for her takeover
>the king is weak and not even terribly interested in ruling, by now he is unable to even defy the noble council, some major nobles are doing everything short of open defiance
>perfect situation for her to exploit
>becomes quickly the king's most trusted advisor
>aside from her obvious "charms" she helped the king restore some semblance of order at court
>develops a bit of a soft spot for the king and decides that he can be her mind broken pet in her new kingdom
>she is ready but the king is so naively, innocently sweet and trusting of her that she has trouble bringing herself to do it
>decides to adopt a different approach
>she will stay by his side and slowly get him to willingly help her with creating her sorcerous kingdom where they will rule together
>in the meantime she has to keep eyes on those nobles because it is only a matter of time before they decide that her poor king has become inconvenient and try to assassinate him, or some ambitious noble decides that he would make a better king

Everyone is for some reason suspicious of my new court mage. She has been nothing but helpful and pleasant to deal with, I have utmost trust in her.
