Really, plusmates are proof that most posters here are more interested in the roommates than the holo personalities presented. At least there was an excuse when Polka’s roommate collabed with roberu and kira, or with nzmi and c*n*n. I just find it weird, it’s not like there aren’t thousands of japanese girls streaming that you could watch and if your interest isn’t in the experience provided by hololive, then why limit yourself? If it’s a case of “I just want more content of my oshi” I guess that makes sense, but with cases like l*l*, I’m left wondering what’s the point of vtubing as a whole, considering how many anons have confessed, or at least claim they’ll continue to watch their oshi even if she ever graduated and became a regular streamer. What’s the point of the avatar?
