>It wouldn't make sense for Sotsu Satoko to hold back Keiichi and tell him to flee when Rika was supposedly already dead.
You're assuming a lot of stuff when we don't have the answers yet. It could just be she was holding him enough until the tragedy seemed inevitable. When she releases Keiichi, Rika is still alive, but Mion and Shion are already dead. Then Keiichi and Rika almost beat Oishi. If Keiichi had gone alongside the Sonozaki they probably could have taken him down.

Now compare with manga Satoko.

>barely, she went with them once and that's it
They seemed to still be hanging around just fine even up to the first time skip (summer uniforms). In addition to that, She wasn't expecting Rika to drop out and knows she needs to keep up to follow her dream, unlike in the anime where when she had problems she instantly blamed Rika.

Also, even at the end of the chapter she was trying to keep an open mind rather than jumping straight to accusing Rika of breaking/forgetting her promises. Although, of course, she will need to break at some point since the plot must go on, but at least both sides are trying to make things work here.
